VetCoach is a not-for-profit project to share a collection of “career reflections” of veterinary professionals around the world with young veterinary professionals. The contributing authors have donated their time to share their professional insights with graduating students, as a gift “from the current generation to the next one”.
The VetCoach mission is to give a VetCoach book to every graduating veterinary student. Books are made available with the financial support of sponsors. Sponsoring is open for companies, organizations and individuals that support the cause of the VetCoach project.

Unfortunately not students can be reached yet with a free copy and some students cannot wait to have their personal copy of the book. Also veterinarians like the book and have requested for the opportunity to buy VetCoach books. Orders came in from sgtudents, from a veterinary association, for a book as a gift to a colleague at the 25 years diploma celebration, for 5 books as a gift for vet friends and colleagues at Christmas ‘09, and for as much as 12 books (for all young colleagues in my clinic who should read this”).
Whatever the reason is (may be you just want a copy yourself?), you are now able to order one or more copies of the first English edition of the VetCoach book by contacting me.
The promotional price for copies of the first English edition for veterinarians is €uro 18.95 (U$Ds 25), excluding shipment. Students benefit from a further discount to €uro 12.50 (U$Ds 16) excl. shipment. These offers are of course valid as long as stock lasts (only 50 copies are left in April '10). Copies of the 2nd edition in Spanish supported by Merial, can be ordered free of charge.
The second English edition will be available end of April '10. Cover price €24.95. Individual students will have 25% discount. For the price for 10 or more books, please contact me.
Shipment for one book within Europe is € 12.50. Intercontinental shipment is € 22.50 (U$Ds 27.50) per book. Two books go for the same price (same weight class as one book). Payment needs to be received, before the books can be shipped.
Companies and organizations may contact VetCoach to discuss the opportunity to order large numbers of books, or produce a new tailored edition. An international student survey in 10 countries showed that 90% of the students cannot think of a better gift at graduation. VetCoach will be happy to optimize the offer in order to make books available to as many students as possible. Please contact me.
